Last night we attended the launch of ''Metropolis" a new collection of amazing wallpapers and fabrics produced by Catherine Martin and Mokum Textiles.
Many of you may already be familiar with Catherine's work as the lavish set decorator from the popular Australian produced films by Baz Luhrmann, the most recent being The Great Gatsby.
Martin's new range is opulent and indulgent with amazing throwbacks to the art deco period as seen in much of the sets throughout The Great Gatsby.
Lavish velvets along with geometric prints are combined with embroidered linen to give a truly unique and opulent look to Catherine's new collection.
